Anastasia Zavorotnyuk


Anastasia Yuryevna Zavorotnyuk is a Russian actress, TV presenter, Meritorious Artist of Russian Federation. An ethnic Russian, Zavorotnyuk has become a living cliche for Ukrainian women in modern Russian pop culture after her role in the My Fair Nanny TV show. Anastasia was taught Ukrainian accent by her a colleague in the theater.

Anastasia Zavorotnyuk was born on April 3, 1971 in Astrakhan. Her mother, Peoples Artist of Russias Valentina Borisovna Zavorotnyuk, worked in the Astrakhan Youth Theatre. Her father, Yuri Andreevich Zavorotnyuk, worked on television, and was a member of the Academy of Russian Television. Even from early childhood, Anastasia decided to play in the theater and insist on her dream in her spare time making music and dancing, took part in the dance ensemble Lotus. She received lessons at the Moscow Art Theatre. In 1991 she took part in her first film playing Masha. Then, in 1993 Anastasia graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School and became and actress under the direction of Oleg Tabakov. Over 10160years in the theatre, she had been inproductions.
