Bashirul Haq

Bashirul Haq is a Bangladeshi architect, planner and educator. He is noted for ideological environmentresponsive architectural style.

Haq was born in Brahmanbaria. His father was a Deputy Collector of Sylhet district. For the reason, Haq spent a lot of childhood time there. He completed his Bachelor of Architecture from National College of Arts, Lahore, Pakistan in 1964. He received John Heimrich Tuition, Scholarship and Teaching Assistantship at University of New Mexico, US in 1971 and completed his Master of Architecture from the university in 1975.
