Christina Hendricks

Christina Rene Hendricks is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Joan Holloway in the AMC drama television series Mad Men, for which she has been nominated for six Emmy Awards.

Hendricks was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her mother, Jackie Sue , was a psychologist. Her father, Robert Hendricks, worked for the United States Forest Service and was from Birmingham, England. Through her father, she has dual US amp UK nationality. Her family moved because of her fathers profession, living in Fairfax, Virginia Portland, Oregon and Twin Falls, Idaho.
