Darren Collison

Darren Michael Collison is an American professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association . He earned NBA AllRookie Team honors in his first season in the NBA with the New Orleans Hornets.

Collison was born in Rancho Cucamonga, California to parents Dennis and June , who were both elite track and field athletes for Guyana. As a senior in Etiwanda High School, Collison was named a fourthteam Parade AllAmerican.
