David Saint Jacques

David SaintJacques, Engineer, Astrophysicist, Medical Doctor , is a Canadian astronaut with the Canadian Space Agency . He was selected to join the CSA in the 2009 CSA selection along with Jeremy Hansen.

SaintJacques was born in Quebec City and raised in the Montreal suburb of SaintLambert, Quebec. SaintJacques is married and has two children. He is a lifelong mountaineer, hiker, cyclist, skier and passionate sailor. He also holds a commercial pilot license. He is fluent in French and English, and has a basic understanding of Russian, Spanish and Japanese.
