Derek Blasberg

Derek Charles Blasberg is an American writer, editor and New York Times bestselling author. He is currently Vanity Fairs Our Man on the Street and a senior staffer of the Gagosian Gallery.

Blasberg was born in St.160Louis, Missouri, the son of Carol and William Blasberg, and has a brother named Christopher. After graduating as salutatorian of Affton High Schools class of 2000, he moved to New York City to attend New York University. He graduated with honors and two degrees, Dramatic Literature and Journalism, in 2004. His first job was as an assistant at Vogue.
