Doddanna

Doddanna is an Indian actor in the Kannada film industry who has acted in about 500 films. He started his career as a theatre actor. During this time and later entered the Kannada film industry as a character actor.

Doddanna was born onNovember 1949. Being the youngest son in the family, he was named after his grandfather Kadle Doddappa. He started his career as a theatre actor with Vighneshwara Kala Sangha in Bhadravathi during which time he worked in a steel factory there. He, along with his friends formed a theater troupe called Gandharva Ranga. Later, he entered the Kannada and Tamil film industry.
