Ed Westwick

Edward Jack Peter Ed Westwick is an English actor and musician, best known for his role as Chuck Bass on The CWs teen drama series Gossip Girl . He has appeared in films such as the romantic crime drama Breaking and Entering , the comedydrama Son of Rambow , the scifi drama S. Darko , the romantic comedy Chalet Girl , the biopic J. Edgar , the romantic drama Romeo and Juliet , the action thriller Last Flight , the crime drama Bone in the Throat , and the horror comedy Freaks of Nature . He starred as Kent Grainger on ABCs crime drama series Wicked City.

Westwick was born in Hammersmith, London, and raised in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. He is the third son and youngest child of Carole , an educational psychologist, and Peter Westwick, a university lecturer. He has two older brothers. At age six, he began music lessons and attended a Saturday morning drama school. He was educated at The Barclay School and North Hertfordshire College, where he took Alevels in business, law, and communication. He later trained at the National Youth Theatre in London.
