Emanuel Pleitez

Emanuel Alberto Pleitez was a 2013 mayoral candidate for the city of Los Angeles. He was born and raised in South and East LA, and was the first of his family to attend college, graduating from Stanford University in 2006. He is the Chief Strategy Officer of Spokeo, an LAbased tech company.

Pleitez was born in South Los Angeles and raised in the Eastside neighborhood of El Sereno. He is the son of Mexican and Salvadoran immigrants, brought up along with his younger sister by their single mother.
