Fiona Ma

Fiona Ma is an American politician and member of the Democratic Party who has represented the second district on the California Board of Equalization since 2015. She previously served on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and in the California State Assembly .

Ma is the oldest of three children born to William and Sophia Ma, both Chinese immigrants. Her grandfather, Lieutenant General Ma Zhen, was the first mayor of Kunming, Republic of China.
