Flvia Alessandra Martins da Costa is a Brazilian actress. She is best known for roles in both telenovelas, television series and films.

Flvia Alessandra is daughter of a teacher, Raquel, and of a navy commander, Hlio. She is the youngest child of her three brothers, next to Keila and Hlio. She was born in Arraial do Cabo, state of Rio de Janeiro, Flvia also has acquired Portuguese nationality thanks to her Portuguese grandfather from the Coimbra region. She has two daughters Giulia Martins, of the marriage with Marcos Paulo, who they divorced in 2002 and Olvia Costa, daughter to Otaviano Costa, who they married in 2006.
