Galen Rupp

Galen Rupp is an American longdistance runner. He competed in the Summer Olympics in 2008 and 2012, and in the latter competition was a silver medalist in the mens 10,000 meters. Rupp competed for the University of Oregon and currently trains under Alberto Salazar as a member of the Nike Oregon Project. On February 13, 2016, Rupp placed first in the U.S. Olympic Marathon trials, thus qualifying for the Olympic Marathon for the 2016 Olympics.
