Goran Dragi is a Slovenian professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association . He plays at both the point guard and shooting guard positions. He played professional basketball in Slovenia and Spain before entering the NBA in 2008. Dragi has played for the Phoenix Suns twice, the Houston Rockets, and the Miami Heat.

Dragi was born to a Slovenian mother and a Serbian father. He grew up in Slovenia playing soccer. However, an injury forced him to switch sports. As a child in Europe, he admired NBA players Michael Jordan, Allen Iverson and former teammate Steve Nash, and woke up atin the morning to watch NBA games. He is fluent in Slovenian, Serbian, Spanish, and English. Dragis brother, Zoran, was formerly his teammate on the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat.
