Haylie Duff


Haylie Katherine Duff is an American actress, television presenter, author, singer, songwriter, film producer, businesswoman, writer, and food blogger. She is the older sister of former Lizzie McGuire actress Hilary Duff. She is best known on her role as Sandy Jameson in the television series 7th Heaven , as Summer Wheatley in Napoleon Dynamite , and as Annie Nelson in the madefortelevision films Love Takes Wing along with its sequel Love Finds a Home .

Duff was born in Houston, Texas. Duffs mother, Susan Colleen Duff is a homemaker and film producer, coexecutive producer of A Cinderella Story and producer of The Perfect Man and Material Girls , as well as the manager of her sister Hilary. Her father, Robert Erhard Bob Duff, is a partner and owner in a chain of convenience stores with his father John B. Duff and resides at the family home in Houston to maintain the familys business. She began her acting career as an offshoot of her early dance training. Growing up in Texas, Duff began ballet at an early age. By the age of eight, Duff landed a role in the Houston Metropolitan Dance Companys production of The Nutcracker Suite.
