Jack Abramoff

Jack Allan Abramoff is a former American lobbyist, businessman, movie producer and writer. He was at the center of an extensive corruption investigation that led to his conviction and topeople either pleading guilty or being found guilty, including White House officials J. Steven Griles and David Safavian, U.S. Representative Bob Ney, and nine other lobbyists and Congressional aides.

Jack Abramoff was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, into a Jewish family. His parents were Jane and Franklin Abramoff, who was president of the Franchises unit of Diners Club credit card company.
