Jason Schwartzman


Jason Francesco Schwartzman is an American actor, screenwriter and musician. He is known for his frequent collaborations with Wes Anderson, such as Rushmore , The Darjeeling Limited , Fantastic Mr. Fox , Moonrise Kingdom and The Grand Budapest Hotel . He has also appeared in such films as I Heart Huckabees , Shopgirl , Marie Antoinette , Funny People , Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Saving Mr. Banks .

Schwartzman was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of actress Talia Shire and the late producer Jack Schwartzman. Schwartzmans brother is actor and musician Robert Schwartzman, and his paternal halfsiblings are Stephanie and John Schwartzman. Many other members of Schwartzmans family are involved in film he is the nephew of Francis Ford Coppola, cousin of Nicolas Cage, Sofia Coppola, Roman Coppola and Christopher Coppola, and grandson of Italia Coppola and Carmine Coppola. His first cousin once removed, father Jacks first cousin, is Elliott B. Oppenheim, novelist and screenwriter, whose first novel was Kaleidoscope, a turbulent tale loosely based upon his final high school year in 196364.
