Lauren Beukes

Lauren Beukes is a South African novelist, short story writer, journalist and television scriptwriter.

Lauren Beukes was bornJune 1976. She grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. She has an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Cape Town. She worked as a freelance journalist for ten years, including two years in New York and Chicago.
