Marcel Antonio

Marcel Antonio is a Filipino painter. Once considered as one of the most promising in Philippine contemporary art, after attending the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts Antonio produced a distinctive collection of narrative and pseudonarrative figurative paintings influenced by modernism and 1980s postmodernism, enough for him to be counted as one of the Philippines young painters most proficient in the expressionist genre.
