Mason Ryan

Barri Griffiths is a Welsh professional wrestler and former Gladiators competitor, also known by his Gladiators name Goliath and his ring name Mason Ryan. He is best known for his time with WWE. After a short stint on the main roster. he was sent back to the now renamed developmental territory WWE NXT prior to his release in April 2014.

Griffiths was born in Tremadog, the son of Carys and Malcolm Griffiths. He attended Ysgol y Gorlan primary school in Tremadog and Ysgol Eifionydd secondary school in Porthmadog, before studying construction management at Cardiff University formonths. He worked as a trainee carpenter and in his familys funeral home prior to becoming a wrestler. Griffiths played football as a centreback for Welsh Premier League team Porthmadog, but had to curtail his career due to a knee injury.
