N. T. Rama Rao Jr.


Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr. is an Indian film actor, Kuchipudi dancer, and playback singer known for his works exclusively in Telugu cinema. He is the grandson of veteran Telugu actor, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. T. Rama Rao. In 1996, he was starred as a child artist in Ramayanam, which won the National Film Award for Best Childrens Film for that year. He achieved his breakthrough success in 2001 with the blockbuster Student No.1. He is best known for his works in box office hits such as Aadi , Simhadri , Rakhi ,Yamadonga , Adhurs , Brindavanam , Baadshah , Temper , and Nannaku Prematho .

Jr. NTR was born onMay 1983 in Hyderabad to Telugu film actor and politician Nandamuri Harikrishna and Shalini. He is the grandson of veteran Telugu actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh NTR. Jr. NTR did his schooling from Vidyaranya High School, Hyderabad, following which he completed his Intermediate education at St. Marys College, Hyderabad. Jr. NTR is a trained Kuchipudi dancer.
