Pablo Iglesias Turri%C3%B3n

Pablo Manuel Iglesias Turrin, known as either Pablo Iglesias or Pablo Iglesias Turrin is a Spanish politician who has been the SecretaryGeneral of Podemos since 2014.

Iglesias was born in Madrid, the capital of Spain. He studied with honours at Complutense University, where he received his degree in law , including an Erasmus term at the University of Bologna, before turning to political science and administration, receiving his licentiate , teaching certificate , DEA and PhD . His doctoral dissertation was on political conflict and peace processes, titled PostNational Collective Action, under Heriberto Cairo Carou. Iglesias has also obtained a Master of Humanities from Charles III University with a thesis regarding a political analysis of cinema, and a Master of Arts in Communication from the European Graduate School in Switzerland, where he studied political theory, cinema and psychoanalysis.
