Alan Durst was a British sculptor and wood carver and member of the London Group of artists. Three of Dursts work are held in the permanent collection of Tate Gallery.
Alan Lydiat Durst was born at the rectory in Alverstoke, Hampshire, England onJune 1883. He was the son of William Durst who was the Rector of Alverstoke. He married Elizabeth Clare Amy Barlow onDecember 1918. Durst died onDecember 1970 and his funeral took place on TuesdayDecember 1970 at Golders Green Crematorium.
