Ciriaco Mar%C3%ADa Sancha y Herv%C3%A1s

Blessed Ciriaco Mara Sancha y Hervs was a cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church who served as the Archbishop of Toledo in addition to being the Primate of Spain and the Patriarch of the West Indies. He established the Sisters of Charity.

Ciriaco Mara Sancha y Hervs was born to Ambrosio Sancha and Baltasara Hervs in Quintana del Pidio in Spain. He was educated at the University of Salamanca where he earned a licentiate in theology.
