Claire van der Boom

Claire van der Boom is a Logie Award winning Australian film and television actress of Dutch ancestry. Internationally, she is best known for her appearance as Stella in the HBO miniseries The Pacific, and her recurring role playing the exwife of Det. Danny Williams in the 2010 remake of Hawaii Five0.

Van der Boom was born in Broome, Western Australia. She attended Presbyterian Ladies College in Perth, where she studied drama, graduating in 1999. She also graduated from Sydneys National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2005. She is of Dutch descent.
