Denise Marie Quiones August is a Puerto Rican actress, model and beauty queen who was the fourth woman from Puerto Rico to win the Miss Universe contest. Prior to winning the Miss Universe pageant, she represented her hometown of Lares in the Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2001 pageant. Since 2010 she lives in Santo Domingo.
Quiones was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She dated Ren Prez, also known as Residente from the Puerto Rican alternativereggaeton duo Calle 13. From 20102011 Quiones was in a relationship with Dominican actor Frank Perozo.
