Dervish Mehmed Pasha the Bosnian

Dervish Mehmed Pasha was an Ottoman statesman that served as the Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire briefly betweenJune 1606 December 1606.

He was from Bosnia , and was born Christian, being brought away by the Ottomans as part of the devirme, becoming a Janissary. He rose in the court ranks and became bostancibasi.
