Dmitry Nikolayevich Medvedev
Dmitry Nikolaevich Medvedev was one of the leaders of the Soviet partisan movement in western Russia and Ukraine.
Medvedev was born in Bryansk in a steelworkers family. During the Russian Civil War he joined the Red Army and in 1920 he joined the AllRussian Communist Party . Between 1920 and 1935 worked in the Cheka, OGPU and the NKVD in Soviet Ukraine.
