Eden Rebecca Sher is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Sue Heck on the ABC sitcom The Middle for which she won the Critics Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2013.
Sher was born in Los Angeles, California on December 26, 1991 to a Jewish family. She was raised by her mother, a single school teacher. She has both an older and a younger brother, and owns three dogs. It was at the early age of eight that she began her career in acting, starting by participating in school plays, local theater productions, and singing in her elementary school chorus. Her interest in acting was ignited after a recording of one of her school performances appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
