Edith Prescott Luckett Davis was a film and Broadway stage actress in the 1910s and 1920s. She was the mother of Nancy Reagan, First Lady of the United States from 1981 to 1989, and motherinlaw of US president Ronald Reagan.
Edith Luckett, nicknamed Lucky, was born in Petersburg, Virginia, the ninth and youngest child of Sarah Frances and Charles Edward Luckett.
