Erich Borchardt

Erich Borchardt was a highly decorated Oberfeldwebel in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knights Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Erich Borchardt died onApril 1944 in Krasnoperekopsk, Ukraine.
