Franois Ignace Schaal, born and baptized onDecember 1747 in Colmar and died onAugust 1833 at Slestat , was a French general and statesman of the French Revolutionary Wars and the First Empire. He was one of six children of JeanBaptiste Schaal, a lawyer in Colmar and Anne Barbe Kubler.
