Gnther Victor, Prince of Schwarzburg was the final sovereign prince of SchwarzburgRudolstadt and SchwarzburgSondershausen, and also the last German royal to abdicate in the wake of the November Revolution of 1918.

He was born in Rudolstadt the son of Prince Adolf of SchwarzburgRudolstadt and his wife Princess Mathilde of SchnburgWaldenburg . His mother Princess Mathilde was the daughter of Otto Victor, Prince of SchnburgWaldenburg and Princess Thekla of SchwarzburgRudolstadt a cousin of Prince Gnthers father.
