George Fenton


George Fenton is an English composer best known for his work writing film scores and music for television such as for the BBC series The Blue Planet and Planet Earth.

Fenton was born in London and attended St Edwards School in Oxford where he learnt his music from Peter Whitehouse. He has no further formal training in music. Fentons involvement with St Edwards continued as an adult and he has been a governor of the school since 1998.
