Gerald Klug

Gerald Klug is an Austrian jurist and politician. He is a member of the Social Democratic Party. He served as Federal Minister of Transport, Innovation and Technology betweenJanuary 2016 andMay 2016. FromMarch 2013 toJanuary 2016 he served as Federal Minister of Defence and Sports.

Klug was born in Graz onNovember 1968. After graduating from technical college in Graz and vocational school he served in the Austrian army from 1987 to 1988. He received a law degree from KarlFranzens University in 2001.
