Henri Elz%C3%A9ar Taschereau
Sir HenriElzar Taschereau, PC was a Canadian jurist and the fourth Chief Justice of Canada.
He was born in his familys seigneurial manor house at SainteMariedelaBeauce, Lower Canada to PierreElzar Taschereau and Catherine Hndine Dionne. Tashereau attended the Universit Laval and was called to the Bar of Quebec in 1857. That same year he married MarieAntoinette de Lotbiniere Harwood , daughter of Robert Unwin Harwood, and they were the parents of seven children. He married his second wife, MarieLouise Panet, in 1897 and fathered three more children.
