Henrietta Wells Livermore


Henrietta Wells Livermore organized the first meeting of suffragists at her Park Avenue apartment in 1910, which became the Womens National Republican Club.

She was born as Henrietta Wells on May 22, 1864 to Judge Henry Jackson Wells and Maria A. Goodnow in San Francisco, California. She attended Harvard Grammar School then Wellesley College and graduated in 1887. She receiver her masters degree in 1893 from the same institution.
