Howard William Kennard
Sir Howard William Kennard GCMG, CVO was a British diplomat, Charg dAffaires, and British Ambassador to Poland at the outbreak of the Second World War onSeptember 1939 and to Polish governmentinexile until 1941. He was also ambassador to Switzerland and to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
Kennard was born onMarch 1878 in Brighton, the son of Arthur Challis Kennard and Anne Homan Mulock, and educated at Wixenford School and Eton College.
