Jack London (athlete)

John Edward London was a British athlete who competed mainly in the 100 metres. Born in British Guiana, now Guyana, he won a silver and a bronze medal at the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam, becoming the first black athlete to win Olympic medals for Great Britain.
