James Manning Tyler

James Manning Tyler was an American politician, lawyer and judge from Vermont. He served as a U.S. Representative from Vermont.

Tyler was born in Wilmington, Vermont, son of Ephraim Tyler and Mary Tyler. He attended the Brattleboro Academy. He graduated from Albany Law School and was admitted to the bar in September 1860. Tyler began the practice of law in Wilmington.
