Jesus Gil Abreu
Jesus Gil Abreu was a rancher and pioneer who owned a New Mexico ranch that now comprises Philmont Scout Ranch.
He was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His father was on the staff of New Mexico Governor Albino Prez and was killed along with the governor during the Revolt of 1837 .
