Kroly Gundel September 1883160November 1956 was a Hungarian restaurateur and writer of culinary works.

Kroly Gundel was born onSeptember in Budapest, the son of Jnos Gundel, a restaurateur. His mother was Anna Kommer. Of thechildren of Jnos Gundel it was Kroly who inherited his fathers passion for the catering profession and his gastronomic genius. He married in 1907 with Margit Blasutigh.
