Lara Parker

Lara Parker is an American television, stage, and film actress known for her role as Angelique on the cult ABCTV serial Dark Shadows which aired from 1966 to 1971.

She was born Lamar Rickey in Knoxville, Tennessee, and grew up in Memphis. Descendant of a prominent Southern family, she was a greatgreatgranddaughter of Lucius Quintus Cincinnatus Lamar II and a thirdgreatgranddaughter of Augustus Baldwin Longstreet, an uncle of Confederate General James Longstreet. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhodes College and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Iowa.
