Lawrence M. Krauss


Lawrence Maxwell Krauss is an American theoretical physicist and cosmologist who is Foundation Professor of the School of Earth and Space Exploration at Arizona State University, and director of its Origins Project.

Krauss was born in New York City, but spent his childhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was reared in a Jewish household. Krauss received undergraduate degrees in mathematics and physics with first class honours at Carleton University in 1977, and was awarded a Ph.D. in physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1982.
