Lindsay Merritt Inglis
Major General Lindsay Merritt Inglis CB, CBE, DSO amp Bar, MC, ED was a New Zealand military leader, lawyer and magistrate.
Inglis was born in Mosgiel, Otago, New Zealand onMay 1894 to a banker and his wife. After completing his education at Waitaki Boys High School in Oamaru, he commenced legal studies at the University of Otago in 1913.
