Louis Fran%C3%A7ois, Duke of Anjou
Louis Franois of France, was a Fils de France and Duke of Anjou. He was the youngest son of Louis XIV.
Louis Franois de France was born in June 1672 at the Chteau de SaintGermainenLaye outside Paris to Louis XIV of France and his Habsburg consort Marie Thrse of Austria. He was the couples third son and last child. As the second son, he was given the traditional title of Duke of Anjou, a title that had been previously held by his late older brother Philippe Charles who died in July 1671.
