Nathaniel C. Barker
Sergeant Nathaniel C. Barker was an American soldier who fought in the American Civil War. Barker was awarded the countrys highest award for bravery during combat, the Medal of Honor, for his action in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, during the Battle of Spotsylvania on May 12, 1864. He was presented with the award onSeptember 1897.
