Nexhmije Pagarusha
Nexhmije Pagarusha is a popular Albanian singer and actress from Kosovo, often referred to as the queen of Albanian music.
Nexhmije Pagarusha was born in the small village of Pagarua , near the town of Malishev, in Kosovo. She finished the primary school in Malievo and then went to Belgrade, where she attended three years in the school of music, in the solo canto section. She began her music career as a singer for Radio Pristina in 1948.
