Patricia Giovanna Cant Velasco , known professionally as Paty Cant is an Mexican singersongwriter and occasional actress, who rose to fame as one of the founding members of the successful Mexican pop duo Lu.
Cant was born in Houston, Texas. The family returned to Guadalajara when she was a child. At the age of 16, Cant was drawn to entertaining people she started taking bass and guitar lessons, eventually leaving law school to pursue her musical career.
