Alan Cranston

Alan MacGregor Cranston was an American journalist and Democratic Senator from California.

Cranston was born in Palo Alto, California, the son of Carol and William MacGregor Cranston. He attended Pomona College and the Universidad Nacional Autnoma de Mxico before graduating from Stanford University in Palo Alto in 1936.
