Alan Somers
Alan Brounell Somers is an American former competition swimmer and world recordholder who represented the United States at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome Somers competed in the mens 400meter freestyle, finishing fifth in the event final with a time of 422.0. He also qualified for the final of the mens 1,500meter freestyle, clocked a time of 1802.8 and finished seventh overall.
